Raw and all Natural



In addition to going Vegan, you may go further and decide to go Raw and all Natural.

Using only raw ingredients in your meals can be quite inspiring. Raw food is healthy and delicious.

While some foods must be cooked in order to gain from their nutrients, having  certain foods raw helps preserve their vitamins and antioxidants, and preparing raw dishes can also be fast and simple. 
I have also included a few recipes for you.

Begin with berries in a base of protein powder and almond butter.
For added protein you may add nuts of your choice
To power pack this breakfast
Add hemp hearts and chia, and any other toppings to your taste.

For Lunch or Dinner you may try:

Raw Zucchini Marinara Pasta 






Ingredients pasta
·         8 zucchinis
Ingredients sauce – makes 2 cups
·         1 cup chopped tomato
·         1 cup roma tomatoes (dehydrated or sun dried)
·         1/2 cup roma tomatoes (dehydrated or sun dried) for garnish
·         2 spring onion stalk
·         1 clove garlic peeled
·         oregano, rosemary and basil to garnish
·         nutritional yeast to taste (savoury yeast flakes)
·         salt and pepper to taste

PREPARATION
Method for pasta
1.     Peel zucchinis and make pasta with Vegetable Spiraliser or Spirooli 3 in 1 Vegetable Slicer
Method for sauce
1.     Place all ingredients in Vitamix blend slowly, so sauce is chunky
2.     Place zucchini pasta in mixing bowl and pour sauce over the top, mix well
Garnish
1.     Chop fresh oregano, rosemary, and basil sprinkle on top
2.     Place tomatoes on top of pasta and nutritional yeast to taste

3.     Ready to serve

Pumpkin Seed Garlic Pasta - This Rawesome Vegan Life


zucchini noodles with pumpkin seed & garlic sauce: serves one or two

noodles:
2 small zucchinis 

sauce:
1/4 cup raw pumpkin seeds
2 tablespoons nutritional yeast
1-2 chopped garlic cloves
1/4 cup basil leaves/other fresh herbs
2 tablespoons raisins/dates
as much nut milk or water as needed

to make the noodles, slice the zukes on a mandolin or spiral slicer. set aside in a big bowl. to make the sauce, blend all ingredients until smooth (adding water or nut milk til then). massage the sauce into the noodles until evenly coated. let them rest for a minute to soften and marinate. sprinkle on whatever you like! nom.
